Baryshnikov Stars In Chekhov Adaptation

Tonight, Hartford Stage launches the world premiere of “Man in a Case,” a movement-friendly stage adaptation of two stories by Anton Chekhov. The production stars someone called Mikhail Baryshnikov, whose theatrical forays have generally been in new work by new writers, not in adaptations of classic scribes. “Man in a Case” also features Jess Barbagallo, Chris Giarmo and Aaron Mattocks. They are all associated with Big Dance Theater, which I hope means Big Fun, too.
