Barry Manilow Grew Up In Williamsburg
That’s the scariest thing I learned in this NY Post interview with the pop schlockmeister. According to some of my younger friends, Williamsburg — the neighborhood in Brooklyn that in the mid-2000s was synonymous with hipster — has gotten so cleaned up that the grown-up Manilow would once again fit in. Manilow’s currently on Broadway but cancelled his performances this week because of flu not because of complications from any new face-lift.
