“Homeland” Clones Arrive On Television
Well, that didn’t take long: the “Homeland” clones are starting to pour forth on quality-cable television. The latest: FX’s “The Americans,” starring Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys (pictured) as sleeper KGB agents in suburban 1980s Washington, D.C.. This fairly positive review says the show “is as much about an unconventional family as it is about Cold War games.” Remember when we were supposed to hate the Commies not just the terrorists?
