RSC News: “Dr. Who” Actor & Hilary Mantel
The Royal Shakespeare Company has announced an exciting line-up for its forthcoming season: “Dr. Who”‘s David Tennant (pictured) in “Richard II” and adaptations of Hilary Mantel’s historical novels “Wolf Hall” and “Bring On The Bodies.” (Maybe all my friends who are having trouble finishing those books will get on better with the theatrical equivalents.) It’s time for the RSC to take a page from the National and start broadcasting its shows live throughout the world.
