“Mad Men” Returns With Two-Hour Episode
Unlike the Adele/”Skyfall” announcement, this story really does count as news: “Mad Men” will return on April 7 with a two-hour episode. The cable network announced early Wednesday that creator/exec producer Matthew Weiner‘s period drama would start its sixth chapter with a long installment, mimicking its long-delayed fourth-season launch. That premiere came after a protracted contract struggle between Weiner and the network, which almost saw him leave the show. In other news: when I looked at the photo above of the cast, my January frigidity completed melted at the million-watt smile of Jon Hamm, who I find additionally appealing because, as any watcher of “Bridesmaids” knows, he has a completely average, un-gym-punished body.
