Arcade Fire To Sell Their Church Studio
Arcade Fire are selling the bespoke studio in which they recorded their hit CDs “Neon Bible” and “The Suburbs.” Any mega-fans who are interested in relocated to Farnham, Quebec, can buy the band’s converted church for just $325,000. “Anybody want to buy a church?” the group tweeted on Friday, pointing followers to a real-estate listing. The notice describes 15,751 sq ft wood-framed building with brick exterior, a large nave, kitchen/dining room, laundry room and three bedrooms. While all of the recording equipment seems to have been removed, the property includes a stove, fridge and dishwasher, pews, and an alarm system.
