Dracula + Frankenstein = New TV Show
Sam Mendes (pictured), the James Bond director, and his “Skyfall” writing partner, John Logan, will assemble literature’s most chilling figures in “Penny Dreadful,” a new drama series from Showtime. Apparently, the show will be “highly erotic” and set in Victorian London. May we expect an appearance by Sherlock Holmes as well? And Jack the Ripper, too?
