Concertgebouw: World’s Best Orchestra?
The last time I shed tears at an orchestra concert, it was the Royal Concertebouw at Carnegie Hall in a Mahler symphony. So if I were the sort of person who spent money for music, I would be very tempted to purchase that Dutch ensemble’s newest anthology. Many professionals think the group is the world’s finest orchestra, and I suspect this compilation will show us why.
