Absurd List: “The Rising Stars Of 2013”
That’s the headline on a report in today’s Daily Beast. But Tina Brown‘s online site is showing its wrinkles. Many of the so-called rising stars were identified as such years ago. For example, Eddie Redmayne (top left), who jumps out of “Les Miz,” has been written about endlessly for at least five years. Similarly, Zoe Kazan (bottom left) has been familiar to at least half of New York since making her off-Broadway review in 2006 in “The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.” Tina, you need some new trend-spotters.
