Bad Sex Award 2012: Who Should Win?
The winner of the 2012 Bad Sex award, presented annually “to draw attention to the crude and often perfunctory use of redundant passages of sexual description in the modern novel,” will be announced this evening. Take a look at the excerpts from the shortlisted novels and make up your own mind. “Fifty Shades of Grey” was not eligible, because according to the rules all books “intended” as erotica can’t compete.
