OMG: Sundance Movies Are About Sex!
The main lineup for the 2013 Sundance Film Festival has been announced, by Director of Programming Trevor Groth and Festival Director John Cooper (pictured). Cooper says: “Many of the films explore sexual relationships and the nature of sexuality in our modern society, which can be really complicated and risky for some.†I feel as if I am in a time warp: when I attended the festival in the 1990s, I swear the head honchos used to say the same thing about sexuality and the movies then. Do indie films (i.e. movies in which celebrity actors take smaller salaries) always have to be about violence and sex?
