Broadway “Performers” Strain To Get It Up
A new comedy about an adult sex worker, “The Performers,” opened last night on Broadway at the Longacre Theatre. It was written by David West Read and directed by Evan Cabnet. The actors are: Cheyenne Jackson, Alicia Silverstone, Henry Winkler, Ari Graynor, Daniel Breaker and Jenni Barber. The show was greeted this morning with negative reviews in New York City’s three main dailies: the Times, News and Post. Most other reviews follow in the same fashion.
