Irony Alert: “Noah” Ark Gets Flooded?
File this under scary irony: According to the Los Angeles Times, Russell Crowe’s Noah’s Ark movie, “Noah,” may be impacted by Hurricane Sandy when it tears through New York on Monday evening. As previously reported, a massive replica of Noah’s ark was built for “Noah” in Oyster Bay, New York. The city, located on the North Shore of Long Island, has already experienced wind gusts of nearly 70 miles per hour. However, while the ark may sustain some damage, it might not be a big deal for the film: As the Times notes, Noah’s ark was “partially dismantled” in recent days and isn’t expected to factor heavily in the remaining production days.
