Who Should Be The First Black Bond?
“Skyfall” star Naomie Harris has revealed that “Luther” star Idris Elba (pictured) met Bond producer Barbara Broccoli and may well be in the running to take over the role of 007 – thereby becoming the first black James Bond. Other names put forward in the past include Colin Salmon and Adrian Lester. What? No Denzel? Yeah, he’s too old. But please don’t tell me an American couldn’t play the iconically British Bond: if Daniel Day-Lewis can play the most famous American of them all, Abraham Lincoln, then certainly a Yank can attempt 007.
