Tina & Amy To Host Globes: Bad Idea
I know we’re supposed to think that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as host of January’s Golden Globes strikes a blow for women, since men traditionally emcee the evening. But I have a feeling that when all those statuettes have been handed out, on January 13th, I’m going to wish the host had still been Ricky Gervais. He wasn’t afraid to REALLY insult people; Fey and Poehler are too inside the American show-biz bubble to do that.
