Is Jason Gould The New Josh Groban?
Last week, Barbra Streisand announced that she will duet with her son, Jason Gould, at her back-to-Brooklyn concerts later this month. About Gould’s voice, Streisand revealed: “When I heard the things he’s recorded — the musicianship, the sound of his voice… it’s like he has a little chamber music orchestra right in his vocal chords.” Based on the sample above, I’m not sure I’d quite agree with Babs about Jason’s musical prowess. He certainly has a nice sound, but he’s not the next Josh Groban, as a few bloggers are suggesting. He looks and sounds more like Kenny G, or at least what Kenny G would sound like if he sang.
