Summer Face-Off: Carly Rae Versus Nelly
Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” may be the song of the summer (Goyte’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” is the song of the year), but this critic asks: How does it stack up against summer 2002’s biggest tune, Nelly’s “Hot In Here?” I like me some occasional Nelly, but in this face-off I have to go with Carly Rae.
