Woody Allen (Still) Has No Computer
I sometimes think my friends without cell phones (by choice, of course) are the lucky ones: no constant need to check texts, push notifications, dating-site accounts. But perhaps the really lucky ones are those without any kind of computers at all: no desktops, laptops, nada. Woody Allen is one of these. He says: “I’ve been working on the same Olympus Typewriter since I was sixteen – and it still looks like new. All of my films were written on that typewriter, but until recently I couldn’t even change the color ribbon myself. There were times when I would invite people over to dinner just so they would change the ribbon. It’s a tragedy.”
