Kristin Chenoweth Injured On Set
Defying Gravity, indeed: Actress Kristin Chenoweth (pictured) was sent to the hospital after being hit in the head on the Brooklyn set of “The Good Wife” on Wednesday. A piece of lighting equipment fell from scaffolding and struck her in the head. Chenoweth then fell and hit her head on the sidewalk. One witness said that she was “knocked out cold,†adding, “I thought she was dead at first.†Paramedics quickly arrived and a New York Fire Department rep said that Chenoweth is being treated for “minor injuries.†Chenoweth has suffered injuries on various productions, including the pre-Broadway engagement of “Wicked” in 2003. I hope that the teeny-tiny Kristin, a true “pocket Venus,” recovers quickly.
