Brad Pitt’s Mother: Anti-Gay, Anti-Obama
I don’t know why so many people are surprised that Jane Pitt has different political views from those of her son, Brad. Mrs. Pitt wrote a letter to a local newspaper in Missouri, in which see called President Obama “a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage.” Just because a lot of her son’s mega success was made by gay people doesn’t mean that Mom believes those people have full and equal civil rights. I have a lot of personal experience holding political opinions that vary widely from those of my Midwestern family. Adults learn to live with this stuff, even if they wish it were otherwise. I’m sure this is the case with Brad. You don’t stop loving family members because of political differences. That’s childish.
