Davkd Lean’s “Summertime” Gets A Bluray
Jeffrey Wells brings us news that there’s a new Bluray of David Lean‘s 1955 movie “Summertime,” which reminded him that the opening-credit sequence is “mesmerizing.” I agree. I’m not a sufficient fan of the film, however, which stars Katharine Hepburn, to watch it in Japanese. I will rely upon my friend Dee Sushi to do that for me — and for LemonWade readers.
