“Harvey”: My Financial Times Review
The Financial Times has published my review of the Broadway revival of that 1944 chestnut, “Harvey,” starring Jessica Hecht and Jim Parsons (pictured). Bottom line: ‘Though directed with a loving hand by Scott Ellis, the new production is more creaky than creative, and slightly too lagging in pace, but I also must report that my matinee audience lapped it up as readily as ice cream at an interval.’
