Movies: I’d rather see “The Avengers” again than endure a second viewing of “Dark Shadows.” Of the artier fare, “Patience (After Sebald),” which I saw at the New York Film Festival, could use your attention. Television: Some people were upset with the Masterpiece “Sherlock Holmes” last week, but I say give it another go. “Once Upon A Time” caps a successful first season with its finale. Music: Can’t believe that Goyte single is still atop iTunes and Adele still tops Amazon. Move on, people! The “Smash” CD is better than you think. Books: And move on from “Fifty Shades” trash! I’m starting Hilary Mantel’s Anne Boleyn novel, “Bring Up The Bodies.” Sports: The deciding Rangers game is on Saturday. Fingers crossed. Golf gives us The Players Championship this weekend. Tiger? Rory? Finally: Still happy about Obama’s gay-marriage “evolution.” As Judge Judy says, “It’s the right thing to do!”
