Naysayers: New “Hobbit” Movie Looks Cheap

Has Peter Jackson been too clever even for himself by introducing “more realistic” filming technique? That’s one of the questions raised after ten minutes of preview footage from “The Hobbit,” Peter Jackson’s follow-up to “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, were shown at CinemaCon last night.   2. It’s not a question of whether millions of people will be going or not. It’s a question of whether it will live up to the “Ring” trilogy. I’m a little doubtful.
