Reasons To Hate Diddy’s “Paris Is Burning”
It’s hard for me to decide what I hate most about “Paris Is Burning,” the new documentary about Diddy prancing around Paris during Fashion Week. Is it the fact that the documentary’s director, Julien Bachelet, uses Goyte on the soundtrack? That Goyte agreed to be photographed with Diddy in the above clip from the movie? That the title is wig-snatched from one of the greatest documentaries of our lifetimes, a 1990 film that chronicled the ball culture in New York and the black, Latino, gay, and transgender communities involved in it? Or am I annoyed by what always annoys me about a Diddy project: Diddy. Trannies unite! Black the release of this travesty!
I so agree with you: associating Diddy with that great documentary is a sacrilege.
If Diddy loves Paris so much, why doesn’t he move there? It would be good riddance.
Diddy has always been a thug. No amount of tarting up in Paris is going to rid him of his gangster (not gangsta) stench.
I can’t wait to see this movie.
Trannies of the world unite! Throw massive shade at Diddy!
