Jake Gyllenhaal Will Creep You Out
I can’t remember the last time I saw Jake Gyllenhaal in a movie. (I have yet to see “Source Code.”) I did just watch The Shoes’ new video, “Time To Dance,” however, in which Jake plays an “American Psycho” type of kook. Even “American Psycho”‘s creator, Bret Easton Ellis, is giving props to the actor. But I don’t understand how Ellis can be stunned at how easily Jake eases over to the eerie. Didn’t they ever see “Donnie Darko”?
If anything, Jake needs to do more comedies. He’s always liked the creepy shit.
Jake not involved in serious stuff? Maybe you’ve heard of this little movie called “Brokeback Mountain.”
I agree that this new video is tremendous. I prefer Jake in smaller bits than in the longer stuff where he’s more of a reactor than an actor.
I’m not a fan, either on the big screen or of his off-camera exploits. I mean, he dated Taylor Swift, who’s half his age. Please!
