“The Walking Dead” is just the latest TV series that bumped off characters we didn’t expect to lose. (SPOILER ALERT!) Among the knocked-off that I have yet to get over is Omar (Michael K. Williams, pictured), on “The Wire.” Omar is the one President Obama said was one of his favorite TV characters of all time. (Omar was a thug; so don’t tell Rush.)
