Hockney Doesn’t Draw Blossoms Well
That’s the verdict of one critic at the big David Hockney exhibition at the Royal Academy in London. “The blossom-lover may see [the work] as failure; not so much for any physical inaccuracies as for its disloyalty to the spirit of blossom-ness.”
