Uggie Keeps Winning Awards
I made a point to visit the hallowed halls of the Westminster Dog Show at Madison Square Garden yesterday with an eye toward looking at the Beagles (pictured). On my way in I ran into an old friend who was carrying his Jack Russell about as if it were a tote. The dog was none too happy about it: Jack Russells are defiantly not lap dogs. The most famous dog in the world right now, meanwhile, is far from Westminster. I’m talking about Uggie (pictured), the Jack Russell who, like his movie “The Artist,” keeps racking up the awards. The latest: a Golden Collar. Uggie is lapping up the attention.
