Broadway In 2032: Gaga, Holograms
On Monday, the folks at TEDxBroadway, the latest in a series of talks about Technology, Entertainment and Design — with marketing mavens, producers and entrepreneurs — will tackle the question, “What’s the best Broadway can be in 20 years?†The NY Post says that in 2032 Broadway will have “holograms, YouTube, and 70-minute shows.” That’s crystal-ball gazing? Broadway in 2012 has or has already had all those things. The only thing I can predict about Broadway in 2032 is that it will more and more and more and more and more and more resemble Las Vegas.
