“Bill Cunningham”: An Original
My Brazilian friend Fabio reminded me yesterday that the documentary “Bill Cunningham New York” belonged on more 2011 Top Ten Movies lists than in fact occurred. Cunningham, who takes those on-the-street fashion shots in the New York Times, is an absolute original. He’s an octogenarian who makes me less afraid to get old: at least if I can still ride my bike around like he does. The movie is available on Netflix.
