China’s Leader Reads LemonWade?
I’ve been saying for years that China may become the world’s number one economy but as long as America dominates the production of pop culture than America will remain the world’s most significant nation. Does Chinese leader Hu Yintao read LemonWade? Because he has just borrowed my argument, to justify China’s huge and growing investment in cultural production. He and other Communist leaders hate the fact that Chinese audiences prefer things like “Avatar” (pictured, in a Chinese cinema) to traditional Chinese offerings.
