Drake Storms Out Of NY Party
One of the many joys of my New Year’s celebration was that I dropped in on such a variety of clubs that I rarely heard the same song twice (except for Jessie J’s “Domino,” which last week achieved its goal of Complete World Domination). Perhaps Drake (pictured) should have been as itinerant as I was, in order to avoid the harrumph he apparently displayed at a bash dj’d by Questlove. Drake and his entourage only stayed for 20 minutes: they were not amused that Q wasn’t spinning hip-hop. Nor, apparently, any trip-hop or hip-pop or pip-hop.
