The auction of Michael Jackson‘s furniture raised only chump change compared to last week’s auction of his friend Elizabeth Taylor’s jewelry. The Jacko auction scared up only around $1 million. What shocked me about the lowball amount is that one of the items sold is the bed he died in. The place from which the singer begged his convicted physician for more “milk” couldn’t even break a few hundred thousand? I guess there are fewer sicko billionaire art and antiques buyers out there than I thought.
