Dame Edna Back Before The Public
Dame Edna, whose last major appearance was in an ill-advised Broadway pairing with Michael Feinstein, has recovered her poise in a new show that has just opened in London. “You may be wondering,” she says as she descends in a hoop, “what an international giga-star is doing hanging in mid-air in a theatre in Wimbledon,” before slyly adding: “I’m wondering that, too.”
