Golden Globes: Random Thoughts
The GG noms were announced this morning. In the movie category, George Clooney had a big day, “The Help” continued to bounce back from its omission from most critics’ awards, and “The Artist” keep edging toward frontrunner status in the derby for Oscar’s Best Picture. On the TV side, full-figured It girl Melissa McCarthy got shut out for “Mike and Molly,” but my favorite new TV diva, Madeline Stowe (pictured) on “Revenge,” got a nom for Actress in a TV Drama.
