The Roots Drop Two New CDs
I’ve liked The Roots even before they welcomed Michele Bachmann to the Jimmy Fallon show with a derogatory Fishbone song. In fact, The Roots for me are usually the only reason to drop in on the relentless bopfest over which Fallon presides nightly. So I’m here to trumpet the fact that the group has not one but two new CDs: “Undun,” their 13th studio album, and a collaboration with soul singer Betty Wright called “Betty Wright: “The Movie.”
