Sam Jackson: Highest Grossing Actor
Samuel L. Jackson, who is currently starring on Broadway as Martin Luther King, Jr., in “The Mountaintop,” has been declared by the Guinness Book of World Records the highest-grossing movie actor of all time. The list of quibbles to this assertion is vast (he wasn’t the star in most of the movies counted), but I’m glad the claimant to this crown is Jackson, not some obvious pretty kid like Tom Cruise.
