They are way too predictable: Wills and Kate, Charlie Sheen. With Christmas sales expected to be down this year, the growth of Halloween seems to be the only thing keeping the economy afloat. Yesterday, I walked a 30-block stretch of upper Broadway in Manhattan and counted nine pop-up Halloween stores. Now, that’s scary.
