One of the many brilliant touches in the theatrical version of “War Horse” is that, even though the novel on which the show is based tells the story from the point of view of the title animal, the horses don’t speak. We can’t say the same about the upcoming Hollywood feature “Mister Ed,” based on the 1960s American TV show.
