“Law and Order: SVU”: Excellent
I have long loved Mariska Hargitay (pictured) on “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,” even though I haven’t had the chance to watch much of the show’s new episodes recently. I did watch her, however, this week on SVU’s season premiere. In this episode based on the Dominique Strauss-Kahn case, Hargitay was excellent. She got a chance to do some serious acting with regard to losing her longtime partner on the show, played by Christopher Meloni. “SVU” has a new sub-boss (the uber boss is of course Dick Wolf), Warren Leight. I hope he brings to the stories what he and the cast brought to the premiere.
