“Charlie’s Angels”: Simply Atrocious
Do you know the phrase “It’s so bad it’s good”? Course you do. It applies to such enjoyable dreck as “Carrie: The Musical” and “The Eyes of Laura Mars.” If you were hoping that the latest iteration of “Charlie’s Angels” (premiering tonight on ABC) was going to join the ranks of “it’s so awful it’s brilliant” you’d be wrong. At least according to this review, which says, “Charlie’s Angels” seems “to want to go back to the ’70s to rustle up some girl power, but it fails miserably and offensively.”
