“War Horse”: Early Best Pic Favorite
The band of Academy Award prognosticators who assemble the Gurus o’ Gold chart have come up with their first one of the season. The experts’ picks are all over the map, since most of the movies haven’t been seen yet. “War Horse” has the best odds, but expect that to change once some of the challengers nipping at its heels are unspooled in the Venice and Toronto film festivals.
