Another Lovely Day With Miss Faye

I got my first laugh of the day reading this story about Faye Dunaway and the one-bedroom, rent-stabilized apartment in New York that she’s leaving (or being evicted from). Miss Faye, an Oscar winner for “Network,” says she’s saying adios because the apartment needs a paint job and has bugs. In a voicemail to the New York Times, she said that the building’s owner, Henry Moses Jr., “is a slum landlord. He has no class.” In response, Mr. Moses replayed voice messages left by Ms. Dunaway to him. “I hope you need that money like crazy and you’ll give it to poor people,” she said. “I hope you have a terrible life.” You expected Mommie Dearest to act sweet?
