Andy Set To Show “Softer Side”
Anderson Cooper says he isn’t worried about becoming overexposed, even though in addition to his hours in primetime on CNN he’ll soon be adding a daily syndicated talk show. Dude, you should be. Even the most likeable of TV personalities (and that’s what, more and more, I consider him: not a journalist but a personality) can wear thin. I don’t think I’ll have this problem with Cooper myself: I rarely watch CNN and if I turn on the TV during the day, when his chatfest will air, it means I’m under the weather. Cooper says the new program will allow him to show his “softer side.” Huh? Since when is his CNN role so butch?
