Spartacus Rides Back To Big Screen
“Spartacus,” the most famous rebel in ancient-Roman history, refuses to relent. His story, which recently spawned TV’s “Spartacus: Blood and Sand,” is returning to the big screen. Michael B. Gordon, the writer who gave us the homo-erotic jizzfest “300,” is working on a new version. Gordon’s remake will reportedly be “less fictionalised” than Stanley Kubrick’s four-time Oscar-winning version, which was based on a novel by Howard Fast and which starred Kirk Douglas (pictured).
