“Tinker, Tailor”: New Trailer
Above is the new international teaser trailer for “Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy,” director Tomas Alfredson’s adaptation of the John le Carre bestseller, which opens in the U.K. on Sept. 16. Focus Features will release the high-profile British film — starring Gary Oldman and Colin Firth — in the U.S. on Nov. 18. “Tinker Tailor” is based on Le Carre’s Cold War spy novel, and also stars Tom Hardy, Mark Strong and Ciaran Hinds. The original, of course, starred the incomparable Alec Guinness.
