When I read that headline about singer Amy Winehouse, I thought: that’s the fastest “cure” since Rev. Ted Haggard claimed to be “rid” of homosexuality after three weeks of counseling. Winehouse will continue outpatient treatment as she goes on tour. Being treated for drug addiction while on a music tour is like trying to lose weight at an IHop. When is John Waters going to put Amy in a movie? She’d be a natural for a “Female Trouble” sequel.
