New “X-Men”: First-Class Production
Todd McCarthy — the most reliable reviewer of Hollywood (but not indie) movies in America — is very high on the new “X-Men” movie. Apparently, the rash of new faces gives the story some freshness it’s lacked in its previous outing. He calls the flick “A first-class production that excitingly reenergizes a flagging franchise.”
