History Channel Takes On The Bible
The History Channel will broadcast a 10-hour docudrama about The Bible. Hmm. While the Good Book may offer information on numerous fields of study, ranging from archeology to comparative literature, it is hardly a treasure trove of factual accuracy. (Didn’t do very well at predicting the latest Rapture, did it?) The Bible is more like the longest novel ever written. But since when does the History Channel let facts get in the way? They aim for “psychological truth.”
